MATERIALS AND CARE

All our solid sterling silver pieces are made with SCS Global Services Certified recycled silver.
This lightweight solid precious metal can be worn virtually at all times & is super easy to clean and care for making it great for casual lifestyles.
Clean & Care:
Silver is slightly softer than gold so it can wear and evolve with time. We think this is a lovely way that our jewelry connects itself to our stories and life experiences. It can withstand most all elements, but the alloys its strengthened with still need care.
Keep away from excess moisture, oils and harsh chemicals and thoroughly dry your hands after washing to prevent discoloration.
Do not swim in pools, the ocean or hottubs with silver jewelry on. This will deteriorate the alloys and softer gemstones overtime and puts you at risk for damaging and losing your jewelry.
Remove before strenuous activities to avoid marring, scratching or bending.
Store clean, dry pieces in your apse jewelry box to avoid unnecessary scratches or tarnishing.
Only use your white microfiber polishing cloth for a quick shine.
For a deep clean, soak for 20 min in a solution of mild dish soap and lukewarm water. The soap will lift deposits on its own, but you can use a soft brush to get the hard-to-reach places. Rinse and pat dry.
*If the piece contains a soft gemstone, skip the long soak and opt for a quick dip. -

All gemstones vary in hardness and care needs.
The softest of our gems include Mother Of Pearl & Pearls, Malachite and Larimar.Pieces containing these gems should be handled with a little more delicacy and kept away from all elements as much as possible. To clean, simply wipe with our polishing cloth or with a lukewarm damp cloth. All gemstones above a 7 on the Moh's hardness scale are great for everyday wear and generally require less maintenance.
These hardest of our stones include Lag-grown Diamond, Moissanite, Sapphire, Ruby Topaz, Tourmaline, Emerald, Aquamarine, Citrine, Chalcedony, and Blue Hawks Eye.
These stones can be soaked in a gentle dishsoap and warm water solution to help break down and lift off any grime or hard deposits. Brush with a soft toothbrush to get hard to reach places.
Other apse stones that sit just below a 7 on the Moh's hardness scale and which should be considered a little more when wearing include Onyx, Pietersite, Aventurine, Larimar, Kunzite, and Moonstone.
